We highlight the rapid and explosive nature of a MicroMobility fire in densely populated settings like apartments and businesses. We address the dangers associated with DIY repairs of lithium-ion batteries in electronics and electric vehicles, emphasizing the risks of fire or explosion from mishandling. We share training, safety protocols and regulatory oversight to mitigate these risks effectively, pointing out significant property damage and personal injury observed in such incidents.

The MicroMobility Safety Workshop provides information on the following:

  • best practices for handling and charging e-bikes
  • e-Bike Technicans courses
  • best practices for dealers
  • recognizing the hazards of lithium ion batteries
  •  how to mitigate risk for owners and dealers
  • safety products you need in your home or shop
  • what to do should a lithium-ion incident occur

The cost of the MicroMobility Safety Workshop is on a per person basis. CESAT  Workshops require a minimum of 10 people.

Are you a CESAT Member? CESAT Member Organizations receive a discount on all training programs and safety products. Contact us for more information on becoming a member of CESAT.

A travel stipend may be required if a facilitator is not in your area. Workshops run for a maximum 3 hours and can be held in a classroom/conference facility. We will require AV equipment. Food and beverages are not included in the price.
